For many years, we collaborated with ATB Aquariumtechnik Burian on the development and design of various aquarium filters. Our work included creating precise templates for milling machines to ensure optimal support for product manufacturing. In addition, we optimized numerous small components and designed the instruction manuals for the entire product range. Anton Burian was the founder, owner, and managing director of ATB Aquariumtechnik Burian, a company that gained worldwide recognition for its quality. Beyond his entrepreneurial success, he was an inventor who developed the world’s first conical protein skimmer for aquarium systems.

Although numerous copies of his invention quickly appeared on the market from different manufacturers worldwide, Anton Burian chose not to pursue legal action. However, this does not preclude potential future claims, as many reproductions were made without proper licensing. The patent rights have been transferred to his descendants.

Anton Burian, founder of ATB, passed away in 2024 at the age of 67 after a short and serious illness.

His products are in use across the globe, serving private clients, commercial enterprises, and prestigious zoos.

In the early days of our work, we also developed a prototype of a data glove, which, from today’s technological perspective, is no longer relevant. This project remained unpatented and dates back to the Commodore computer era.
